A.How you became a Triathlete

A coworker talked me into trying one.  After I got beat by 131 people that day I knew it was time to start training and I have been “practicing” ever since.

 

B.How you balance training, family, work, and life in general:-)

My wife and I have 3 young daughters and I have a full time job, so early morning and night training is normally the only option.  My family puts up with a lot.

I try to make sure that if I miss seeing my family while training in the morning, I spend all the time I can with them that night to make up for it. 

 

C.Good Training Tip

Take the time to learn and practice what makes an efficient swim stroke, bike pedaling motion and running stride to improve your speed and minimize injuries.  The internet is a great

place to find information and videos on this if you don’t have the opportunity to work with a coach or local experts.

 

D.Races that you are most proud of and why

My second White Lake Sprint.  I improved 114 places from my first White Lake Sprint…

 

E. Inspirations and any inspirational quote that you may have

My family.  People who approach challenges with a “go big or go home” attitude.  Anyone doing sub-6 minute miles running at the end of a tri ….
