1.) Remove any old parts which are going to be replaced prior to washing bike.
2.) Check suspension and linkages recommended service or replacement if necessary.
3.) Check air in tires, inflate to recommended pressure.
4.) Inspect tires for cuts or worn areas and recommend replacement if necessary.*
5.) Visually inspect frame, fork, seat, handlebars and stem for obvious cracks and contact customer if found.
6.) Adjust brakes (inspect pads and recommend replacement if beyond wear indicators)*
7.) Adjust shifting (rear derailleur hanger is aligned)
8.) Lube chain if needed.
9.) Crank bolts, stem bolts, seat binder, quick release, wheel nuts all checked for proper tension.
10.) Headset adjust (overhaul or replacement is additional)*
11.) Bottom bracket adjust (overhaul or replacement is additional)*
12.) Spot true wheels, adjust hubs.
13.) Lube cables and housing.
14.) Lube all quick release mechanisms on bike (wheels, seat, brake)
15.) Mark seat height, pull out seat post, wipe down, lube seat post and seat post binder.
16.) Remove wheels from bicycle and wash frame, fork, and wheels, wipe down with frame polish where acceptable.
17.) Wipe clean cassette.
18.) True wheels on truing stand (checking spoke tension as needed)
19.) Wipe down derailleur pulleys.
20.) Degrease chain using chain cleaner (or replace as needed)*
21.) Lube pedals (Speedplay)
22.) Test ride, make notes about specifics found during work or future recommendations and call customer.
